Couple 1: Marie and Double-D doodle

I want to do a couple couple pictures. (Don't you just love English?) I'll probably spend far more time on the others than I did on this one, though I have no idea when I'll get to working on them. I have to practice skin shading more. A lot more. And clothing.

I realized as I was working through this today, that I didn't have an actual plan on how the characters would be posed nor what the background would be. Herp derp.
So, I floundered around and ended up with this after a few hours.

Ed, Edd, and Eddy wasn't necessarily that great of a show, but I enjoyed it when I was younger and have plenty of good memories from it.
Double-D was the best. That poor kid, haha. Since my name is Edward, and that show was so popular, other kids I knew would call me Double D both because they knew I liked the character, and because I was heavily obsessed with chemistry.
Marie was the best designed character in the show, aesthetically-speaking. But I do sometimes wonder if the Kankers actually liked the Eds, or if they just liked toying with them.

As far as this picture goes, let's assume that this is an older adaptation of these two. Let's also assume that Edd got corrective dental work done. I suppose the context for it can be that Marie is getting a little carried away with adrenaline.

By the way, in order to get the colours right for pre-existing characters, I always get an official image of the character to find out exactly what colours are used on them. Typing in "Double D" on google images was a mistake I should have caught beforehand.
