XIII vs. 4 stands for Western Greek death vs Eastern Japanese death
I assume most of you know that the number for "Death" in European culture is XIII Well, the number for "Death" in Eastern culture is 4 So, Thanatos, the Greek God Death, vs. Izanami, the origional Jap. Goddess of Death (was once the Goddess of Creation) If you ever watch Ju-on: The Curse, or it's prequel: 444-444-4444, 2 of the characters get a call from that phone number... then Toshio kills them. oh, I left out Ryoji's other 2 wings, and Izanami's other 3 braids in purpose... not enough room. |
