Eevee and Evanna

My absolute favourite Pokemon. I love that little fox/rabbit/squirrel chimera thing. Glaceon would be my second favourite.

Evanna is sort of an anthropomorphic Eevee, using the pokemon's colour scheme for her clothing. The idea of having purple is actually from Eevee's eyes. I found a really high-res picture of Eevee that had purple eyes. Thus, the colour stuck. Evanna also has the Larxene/Yoroi Mikoto hair-antennae which are the replacement for Eevee's ears.

Before this past week, I only really knew 2 Pokemon: Pikachu (because everyone knows him) and Mudkip (because he's a meme).

But for a long time, everyone I know who owned a gameboy when they were young has been telling me how awesome these games were. Finally, this week I downloaded Pokemon Emerald and have been playing it on emulator. Having never played a Pokemon game, I'd say I'm doing pretty well.

I also got Pokemon Platinum, just because there are more Eevee evos. I used the save-game editor to give myself a full party of Eevees (Eevee, Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Glaceon, and Espeon). All of them started out at the same level as the pokemon I caught that they replaced (you have to have an already existing pokemon in the slot you want to edit with the save-game editor). Thus, I'm not giving myself any advantages.

My Eevee and Glaceon are "shiny", though, lol. I liked the colours better. They're also both female, along with Espeon and Flareon.

Pokemon Platinum has far better character developement than Emerald did. That's the real reason I would like Platinum better. As for the main characters, the one of Platinum just looks a little too... French for my tastes.
However, when it comes to the female characters, both May and Dawn are pretty interesting. I know they're both in the anime, but since I only ever watched a couple episodes in the past, I didn't know anything about them before playing this game.
